HVPS+
HVPS+ (High-Value Payments Plus) is the market practice group and usage guideline defining a common ISO 20022 profile for the world’s major RTGS systems — T2, Fedwire, CHAPS, BoJ-Net, RITS, Lynx and others. At the BIS PIE taskforce, Fostering ISO 20022 harmonisation snapshot its status is "Scheduled": hybrid is implemented, with unstructured removal set for the November 2026 cutover.
How HVPS+ works in practice
The Scheduled→Aligned transition at the cutover is why transitional handling (PART XIII) exists: once HVPS+ removes fully unstructured addresses, in-flight pre-cutover transactions returning through post-cutover infrastructure need Best-Effort Structuring or, exceptionally, the CUTOVER2026 keyword. Decommissioning is synchronised with CBPR+ to prevent fragmentation across channels.
