camt messages
The camt family (Cash Management) covers ISO 20022 exception, investigation and reporting messages. In the address context the key members are camt.056 (FI-to-FI Payment Cancellation Request), camt.029 (Resolution of Investigation) and the camt.110/camt.111 investigation pair — R-transaction messages that reference the parties of an original payment.
How camt messages works in practice
The R-transaction address rule matters at the cutover: camt.056, camt.029 and similar messages may legitimately contain unstructured address data after 15 November 2026 when they reference payments originally processed before that date — and the presence of such legacy data cannot block further processing of the R-transaction.
